What is the overall length of the 300? Is it 30 +swim platform or is it 30 including? Does boat year make a difference?

It's 30' counting the swim platform. It used to be called the Convincor 283.

Yes boat year makes a differnt I believe sometime around early 2000's Checkmates started calling the 28 checkmate a 30 foot boat. Keep in mind checkmate true both lengths are 28 and 30. The 28 came with either single or twin most 30 all twin good luck.

I like that boat. Should run solid with the 496's in it. Seems to be under-propped considering my 454 Mags turn 27's and 28's behind my boat.
