Re: 1972-mx-13
Had two of them. destroyed the first one spent more time in the AIR . Restored the 2nd and my brother sold it. They were rated for 85hp and weighed a little more than 200lbs. I still got a 72 MX-15 with a 75hp...its rated for a 135hp...but its not as much fun.

Re: 1972-mx-13
Hey, I have an old MX 13 that was given to me. Im in the process of restoring it and its the first time ive ever worked on a boat AT ALL. Im naturally good with understanding how things work and how to repair something thats broke but does anyone have any tips for me? Iv already removed all wood and the foam in the floor and ive made a new transom plate using one sheet of 3/4" and one sheet 1/2" treated plywood. Im waiting for some good days to start fibreglassing it in then ill make the floor using 1/2" treated. Im going to try using great stuff large gap foam to replace the foam. Does everything sound alright so far? Also, is this a pay site? It said im using a trial membership?
Thanks
