Default 260 Mold

I Was Just Talking To The Guy That Is Doing The Glass Work On My 260 .
He Used To Work For A Company In Here In Ontario Canada That Built Boats.
He Was At The Toronto Boat Show Today And Was Talking To His Old Boss From That Company And They Got Into A Discussion About The 260 Stinger And How Well Built They Were.
Then His Boss Told Him That He Has The Original Mold From Chris Craft And Want To Know If He Was Interested In Taking It Off His Hands.
He Is Wondering If The 260 Would Ever Sell Again If They Started Production.
What Do You Guy's Think?

nice rough water boat but old square look. Buying a used one is one thing but to build a new one... would need to be refreshed! Just my opinion, still love mine!

I checked both movies... Do you always need the red screwdriver on your dash when you go boating ???

hehe . . i knew somebody would notice that. actually i use my camper top when i dock it and the side supports have a screw to release them. i always just set it there so i know where it is. i keep a specific set of tools on the boat and that's part if it. everything on my boat has its place (fenders, tools, safety stuff, dock lines etc) an i keep it in order. i developed a really good method of determining what should be in the tool set as well. through the years any time i work on the boat weather its in the dock or on the trailer in my shop, i use only tools that i have on the boat. after a while you will weed out what you dont need and add what you do need.

by the way . . .if you stinger has the original aluminum rub rail im sure you have a screwdriver pretty close by to

Of course, I was just kidding ! Who does not have tool in his boat? I'm lucky enough that I replaced my rub rail with a molded one. one piece makes the whole boat, and don't need screw driver... up to now!
Thanks for the movie again! Have you sold your boat on e-bay or it's dead ?

got a bunch of calls an emails but havent sold it yet. would like to move it soon. it really was funny that you noticed that screwdriver. as i was going through my photos and picking the ones that i wanted to put on ebay i saw that just about every single pic that showed the dash had that screwdriver in it. and these photos spaned like 3 years. you are right about the rubrail. when i painted mine i put on that TACO rigid vinyl rail and i havent had to tighten it up since

mine is on e-bay since jan 23 rd 8:30 am. To be honest, I never tought it would sell there, but I did it for curiosity, see if someone has any little interest on an old boat like mine. Good luck selling after auction !!!
