Thinking about purchasing Stinger 222
I really don't know anything about these boats but have always loved the looks of them. I'm looking at a 87 Stinger 222 that has a 400HP/454 Magnum Mercruiser engine and a MERCRUSIER ALPHA 1 OUTBOARD. Is the Alpha 1 a good outboard drive unit? Boat looks to be in decent shape probably needs a good buffing to bring the shine back but overall real clean boat. How much are these worth I see prices all over the place? What should I look for? I noticed the boat must have a upgraded engine because they came with a smaller horsepower engine in the 200's from what this board says. This boat also has the center counsole and comes with a EZ load trailer.
