Re: Summer Stinger Pictures
The four letter "s" word is in the forecast for Thursday into Friday IF all the elements line up correctly.
While that's unlikely to happen this early in October (it has happened), it's still depressing to know winter is right around the corner.
PSmith you still have a lot more boating this year, don't you?

We have some friends who bought a new boat this summer and still have their old boat for sale, so we took the old Scarab out yesterday to Geneva for the afternoon and some dinner. Lake was a pond. We spent a few hours in the "well" where the boat stays and partied on it until we drained the batteries!!! Great "coming out" party.

It's not looking too good, is it?
Hasn't been much of a season to begin with. This past weekend & yesterday were the only 3 days we had in a row that were nice.
We're ready to put this season behind us, hoping for a much better boating season in 2007.

We'll have some get togethers over the winter. Did you by any chance attend last years Cleveland Boat Show & then head downtown afterwards with the group? Rumor has it we'll be doing that again. It was a great time.

Re: Summer Stinger Pictures
We are seriously considering boating more in the Islands next summer.
We have a trailer but it's in terrible shape so we're working on that this winter. It will be sandblasted and repainted, rewired, new tires and then we'll think abut getting plates on it.
RHC is a good friend of ours and if we decide to leave it up there we can do that, so that's always an option. Or we have another friend over at Marina Del Isle where we could rack store it for a few weeks if necessary.
Once we're able to trailer we'll be up to the islands more often. It's very expensive to run the boat up there, not to mention the beating we take when it's rough. At least if we the weekend forecast calls for "suck" around here at it so often does, we can hook her up and head up that way.
