Exhaust tips question
This may be a stupid question, but I'm wanting to put new tips on my stinger and I've found some 11" tips that I like that have the baffle on the inside of the tip. My question is...will that be more quiet than the stock tips on it now with the baffle on the outside? I love the noise and don't want to put something on that will take away from it. Thanks!

Re: Exhaust tips question
If I'm not mistaken, the inside baffle is only to keep water from pushing back up into the engine through the exhaust. I'm pretty sure it is just a baffle on a pivot point that as soon as the engine starts will be wide open. I don't think you will loose any noise.
I have the spring loaded "shotgun" silencers which are forced closed by the springs at idle and eject the water out the bottom of the tip for "reduced" sound. The engine pressure still opens them up even at idle. Believe me, even with this active noise supressor installed it is still loud. I don't think you will loose any noise over the internal baffles.
