Default Debating on a 245 LTD

New to this forum and seems like it is very helpful.

I have been looking at a 245 LTD a fella has up forsale. But, I haven't been able to find any real world experience with this boat hull/style. I currently have a 22' Pachanga that I bought off of Kwiksilver. Just don't know if I want to sell the SeaRay and buy the ChrisCraft.
If anyone has any pros and cons with the 245, I would greatly appreciated it.

Specs of the 1989 245 LTD:
160hrs
New 454 Mag w/some extras
Bravo
Newly redone interior
color: Green and white color scheme
trim tabs
New thru hull exhaust.

I loved mine!!

I wanted 32 ft or bigger so i sold it, i am on Lake Erie, one of the worst for waves, ask anyone who has been there!

My Limited was a 88 with a built small block, for sure get one with a big block, I thought it rode great for a 24 footer, had a good amount of space and nice sun pad.
I used miune overnight every weekend, it did fine with me the wife and the dogs, and usually my brother on the back seat.

Check out the stringers and transom, it is a older boat, Merc Bravo parts are easy to get and work on..

I would buy another in a heartbeat if I find a smokin deal, thgat is low hrs... how much?

I sold mine last year for 9500.00 with SBC and 287 hrs, boat was mint.

I had an 88 with the 454 mag......would run 62mph with a 23 mirage plus....sluggish out of the hole though. With the 21 it would pull right up on plane and run hard to 60- 61. Always had to give a little bit of trim tab to keep from the bouncing.....maybe it had a hook...dunno.
Great boat and I enjoyed it.....dont shy away!!

I also have a 245 ltd. 454 mag I hit a killer wave at the lake Ozark and shattered windshield on impact. Any idea of finding a replacement?
