1987 Checkmate Sportfire, Looking for a 28 Pantera
|
Has anyone ever seen this 390 stinger
anyone know anything about the history of this boat its been in my fam for 15 years or so but maybe someone knows the history before that.
Boat is a 1985. was the same graphics but were blue and light blue colors something like miami vice colors but not the paint sceam. was told changed by the factory in 1986. boat has been in MI for its life i think. It had side by side seating(also change in factory) and had a radar arch(changed in factory)
OH its also for sale right now too. twin 502s. all kinds of covers. list goes on. it does come with trailer. 55k i think its down too. oh and has always been on a hoist. (hoist now sold boat will not see water again till new owner puts it in (ecpept for test drives and such but has been winterrised the past 2 boating seasons))

Thanks. This is the main reason im into boats. when i was little we alsways would go out for a weekend on it stay at Metro Beach Marina. make pancakes with a grill early in the morning. I would buy this thing but its a huge boat and i really dont need one that big. but it runs about 55 mph toped out so its quite quick for a big old boat.

i think 55k is a little too high for today's market. is a really nice boat don't get me wrong but that's my honest opinion.

like i said to him its way too high for any kind of market. Oh and the drives are all orginal just have been redone. even factory paint on the drives since nothing is stronger. that just how he treats his stuff sat on a hoist its whole life.
