Stinger 222 - New 383 Pics...
Sorry for the lack of updates with the Stinger (not that anyone was really following me)... the person that I horse-traded with for the 383 screwed me. A nice Eagle bottom end was damaged pretty badly by using the wrong main bearings. Plus one of the heads had a crack. Oh well... live and learn!
I had Jeff Riddel in Chesapeake, VA rebuild the bottom end for me. Still the same Eagle bottom end but repaired, new TFS heads, Comp roller, etc. I ran out of funds to afford a dyno run/tune, but I'm pretty confident that she'll be in the 460-490 HP range. More than enough!
Anyway, I thought I'd post up some pics for everyone to enjoy! Let me know what you think.

Good luck getting her back in the water! I'm hoping I can be in the water in a couple of weeks.

It's GLM individual runner exhaust... unless I stepped up to headers, this was the most cost effective purchase. Dyno figures show not too much of a gain going with something more expensive. They're aluminum, though, so I shed some good weight. I'm also using aluminum heads (TFS 195's) so that's even more weight. So that's somewhere between 150 and 200 pounds off of the original weight..
The engine should make somewhere north of 460 HP. The computer (Virtual Dyno... REALLY good!) shows 510 HP. I figure anything over 450 HP is a bonus!
I'm on the hunt for 80 MPH, too.

I see your 383 and raise you 468!!!
I'll PM you my email, I'd love to see more pics of your set up!
Looks great mate!
Can't wait to get the motor back in, new sump, Victor Jnr intake, Gil Exhaust and the BG Demon carb, I plan on living in the 80 club! (and running down punks on sea-doos!)
Are you still running an Alpha?
