Risky, but if it pays off then all is well!

I'm dubious about running on a hose vs on the water because there is no load on the engine, load then exposes problems sometimes not evident on a trailer.

Make sure you have a paddle and you stick close to shore for your test run!

Well...... The mechanic recieved the boat with 2 fully charged batteries and must have ran the boat out of gas and didnt know it so he (i assume) cranked the hell out of it, trying to figure out why it died. Needless to say, I didnt check before I drove to the lake 1.5 hr away and got to the ramp just to use up what was left of the batteries trying to get it to start. I was on a pretty tight schedule due to other obligations on saturday so I was forced to Head home unsuccessful. Let you know how the next go around ends up...
