Scorp260sting

I have an 86 chris craft stinger 260 that has a pair of tempest 300 mercs and the motors are mounted 2" higher then normal. I am unable to run aluminum props due to the higher x damention. The boat came factory with K planes and through hulls

anyone else have a set up like this in there 260? or maybe know my boat?

I have no idea how to post pics and the boat is undergoing transom and stringer repairs so motors drives k-planes and platform are all off. ill see if i can dig up some pics of when it was still all together

I see your in Ontario as well...

2 inches seems a bit high and I wonder why it was done with such a high x factor??? Your explanation means the drives might be rather shallow in the water?
Are you running Alphas as well?

yes it has alphas i can set this boat on one block (6x6) on the centre and the drives all the way down and not touch the ground! also with the drives as high as they are it doesnt back up verygood as most of the prop wash hits the transom... but from what i have seen it seems to be a rare 260...

I was on the lake today. We took my buddies Cobalt over to Port Credit for the day and back to St.Catharines.

yea across the lake from barrie. Its funny i always want to make the poker run but always forget the day and miss it.... hopefully i can get it back together and going by then if not maybe my little 202 stinger will be good to go.... so many projects so little time!
