WOW!!!
Very nice indeed. You don't see too many black boats around. There is a black Stinger 390 on our lake and it is dressed with gold emblems. Apparently this was a special order from CC back in 84'
I see you have Arenson drives??? Have you had the boat out yet for a test drive since the purchase, and how does it fly?

Yes i put it water for only few test drives to see how all works.
My best shot was only ~80mph with 4500rpm, the seller give
a test drive then speed was ~100mph.
Engines wont thank when water temperature was 10 degree
or below, so need to take easy.
What i have drive, the arnesons are great: smooth plane,
good holding on turns.
Proper tests left to next season.
And yes this is Jeffreys old boat, Jeffrey sold boat to the seller
who sold boat to me.
Boat has long story and there are also interest race history

Sounds good Shootup! Hope you have fun as for me the season is nearing an end. We are to have nice weather for our long weekend Thankksgiving this coming weekend so I still have my boat in the water and plan to tear up the lake and have some fun.
Maybe two more weeks or so for me then its out for the winter and into heated indoor storage until next spring.
Hope you get to play some more.
I'm travelling in the Carolinas right now and I can't believe the cool lake near Charlotte! Lots of boats out today and the lake was packed with players. I suppose the weather in NC is usually good during the winter months???

That boat is a beauty, I looked at purchasing that boat a few yrs ago but couldn't come up with the $$$. Glad it got repainted. I live up here in Canada and had a black boat 10 yrs ago, looked killer but fcuk me was it hot to touch in the summer, good luck and sweet ride. Keep the black but buy lots of burn cream, the cool factor wins over a few water blisters

Live / drive in Finland and non salt lake area, welcome to visit...
I agree.. Surface drives with cleavers sure rise up cool factor.
And that black paint give the take it seriuosly feeling..hah
Those engines and blower belts sound... sweet song in ears..
Sb fuel tank leaks and its not in use. Have a plan to make
both new ones. Allready cut open sb tank in place where it
comes to cabin space.
