Re: New Style Windscreen

I just had one installed on my TG. I love it. Couldn't stand those funky flaps any longer.

Take the boat to Guardado Marine. Eddie will hook you up.

I am getting mine out this afternoon. Will get some pics for you.

I too would love as much info as possible on that. I have a local shop that can make it out of plastic. Just get me a template, I am SURE it won't cost much ($100 bux??)
Then I'd need to know how to install and mount it.

LS- let me know what you find out.

The glass windscreen itself is curved but not hard to do.It is the aluminum mounting bracket that has to fit the curvature of the cowling. mounting is easy. The way it fits it actually covers all the holes from the flaps!

Re: New Style Windscreen

You should be able to buy the whole setup from Cig for under$1000.00.It comes with the bracket, plexi, foam, vinyl and screws. The foam and vinyl get mounted on the cockpit side for a nice finished look. They will match what ever vinyl you have.

I don't think you can by a sweatshirt from Cig for under $1000.

Re: New Style Windscreen

I recently bought a 2002 30 mystique it is now advertised on this site. I realy don't like the wind, my old boat had canopies so i got no wind. I priced the windshield from cigarette with the monting bracket , the wan 1700.00 for the complete package and I have to drill the holes in the plastic. That doesen't seem worth it to me. If any of you guy's know a better way I would appreciate the info.
