Tank, you drive your Gun like that on the lake so you feel like you're in the ocean...

Also if you notice........most non step Top Guns lean to the right.........
even when it's just sitting at the dock..... The Pink Flamingo always sat
straight no matter what, it would porpoise until you hit about 4000 rpm.
The faster it went the less it would do that, even trimmed out all the way
over 65mph it ran straight as an arrow. It was a TRS boat and the are
balanced better in my opinion. Everyone puts down TRS boats but the
drives are bulletproof with under 600 hp, and Top Guns ride better with
them.........again thats just my opition. My 1991 Carbon 70 boat ran 76
mph with 468 cu inch SC 550 hp @ 5000 rpms in trim heaven no tabs..

True, true, true! The lakes just dont cut it in a big water boat!

Tom, email me so I can send you these pics from the sea water pool in Kona.... [email protected]

L.S., You are absolutely right about the over 4k rpm. The porpoise goes away over 4k. It just doesn't like to go slow!

Thats interesting since we had it full of fuel basically the whole weekend. Makes sense. I just have to get some time and run it.

Yea, like I said...I have to mess with it. We've never run it under 3/4 full of fuel. I was worried in Havasu because of the gauges so I just kept it full of fuel. Hopefully I'm going to run it on July 2nd out here in the ocean and see how we do Take the whole day and play with it.

It's not an opinion, it's the truth.

No, I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I put new impellars in and changed the drive oil as well as a drive trim sylenoid that went bad. I have to empty some of the gas before changing the floats. It's still full of fuel!!
