Default Whats an Excalibur Hawk?

There is one on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

It looks like a knock off of a top gun. Says it is 40ft. Looks like a nice boat. Has Top Gun lines.

Excalibur isnt a knock off, Its a solid well designed boat, It made the cover of power Boat magazine some time in 1983. Reggie Fountain collaborated with Bill Farmer of Excalibur Marine to produce the first 31 executioner(check out fountains history page on the web site). 40 hawk is solid as a rock, you really should check out the excalibur forum, and EXCALIBURHAWK40's web pictures, his excalibur really is something. As for the boat on ebay, if your looking, that one could be a steal if his reserve is low enough.

Yes, I was bidding on the one on Ebay. It just closed I am high bidder but did not make reserve. In this market, any ideas what it should sell for? Thanks again.

It is hard to tell from the pictures what kind of shape it is in. They are very nice boats for their age. They are definately not the fastest, but are very luxurious and comfortable. You would have to see it to be a fair judge, just know they are a lot of boat for the money. Here is mine after a lot of work.

Damn!!!!! I have been looking at yoour boat on the site never saw any cockpit pictures. You have done the craft proud. I have never been in one: It seems deep, is it? My family likes deep boats-especially when they are fast-that is why I have been leaning towards a Top Gun. Thanks again.

I have one. They are great boats and built well. I paid 25 for it with the trailer a few months ago. Its in decent shape for an 82. Rides great in the rough. Big cockpit. not much headroom in the cabin due to the flat deck design.
