New oil coolers installed, now I'm ready.....

Just finished up the installation of the new oil coolers on my Bullet. Its been awhile getting the marina guy out to my dock for the install. But now I'm ready.... but with late temps, maybe ready to winterize

Should have a few more decent boating days tho here at LOTO. Thing is that the fall Harbor Hop is this weekend. Bummer only gonna be about 60. Strange since just the other day it was near 90. Oh well thats MO.

They are Hardin Marine coolers. 2X18, and the one with power steering is a couple inches longer. Should make a huge difference, since the old ones were about 8 inches long and that included the powersteering side, so was only getting about 4 inches of cooler in use. Unfortunately haven't gotten a chance to try them out yet. If not later this week, surely this weekend, should be a nice one. Will keep you posted.

I had to special order one, since they didn't have it in stock, so there was an up charge to get one made and overnited since I orginally thought I wanted them in by the Shootout. After I spent some time wrestling with one, I quickly decided this was a job for the pros, so hired it done. Unfortunately didn't make the Shootout.

Anyway, I think one was about $200 and the other with P/S special order was about $300. Don't have the labor bill yet tho. So not cheap.

Good luck.
