Remember the days when we could race in a production class offshore race .........and then run the same engines for the weekend over to the Bahamas .......with no problems at all.
Of course we were not as sophisticated back then, but we did a lot more boating.

Top B
My 1976 28 CIg( Berks Law ) I raced probably 30 times a year and used it every weekend during the summer in NJ where I lived. It only went two speeds. We were idling or wide open . It han stock 280 Mercs with TRS drives, You couldn't hurt it & believe me we tried. At the finish of a race the oil preasure would be on 5 lbs but it was stll runnin strong. The engines probably had 400 hrs. of 5000 rpms constantly. That boat was the original Great Adventure

Rich,
Where do you get that blue chit around the guide polls of your lift? What is it some kind of carpet? I need that stuff
Congrats on selling her. Super nice 36', very well kept Cig. I'm sure the new owner will be happy, but hard pressed to keep it in the condition (that it looks like) you did.
