THANKS...it will look even better in the next year or so.

Cleared PM, sorry. Got your e-mail THANKS for those pics... man you did a lot of work.

Will definitely call you in the next couple of days.

OH, in the interim before I save up for a full stripping of the exterior to a new color scheme... I am thinking of this (see pic). Lucking the "Lap Dancer" part is decals and will come off easily...I also have a close friend who does signs, wraps etc....

Opinions on this quick cheap temporary change would be appreciated.

From this ...

To this....

I think the new style Cig lettering gives it a nice update. I would also enlarge the cig logo on the back to the newer stretched logo. Cooool boat and good luck!

With these old vintage boats just remember.... less is more.

Keep the design simple and timeless. For a temporary change, I'd pull the letters and leave it alone.

OK, will do...BUT, I need your address so they can send YOU the bill...LOL

On a serious note, I would love to have a LipShip boat...but honestly too fancy for me, and certainly for my intended usage. Plus, what I am doing would probably be too simple for the artists at LipShip anyway.

FWIW, I am making a list of parts to order from them.

Agreed, going to KISS it... clean, simple, form follows function style..with respect to the brand (as it was in the 70s/80s) and the little bit of race heritage it has??. Gonna be sort of like the "16" restoration with a modern twist,...but still usable/reliable as a weekend pleasure boat for myself, my wife and my 120lb GSD.

RE: The "temporary change".....as of 10pm last night, decal removal, easy..."adhesive" removal, not so easy, LOL

Special thanks to my wife for her patience in doing stuff like that.
