The 30 Vice was meant to be sold as a no options boat. You could not order it from the factory with any other motors but the 496's. It was meant to be an entry level boat. I think the only one with anything else installed was the one Phil did and just sold.

It was not in dealer inventory/stock. Your right the 496's were the oem on the boat. I asked for 525's w/ xrs. He inquired with CIG and 2 days later provided the quote with a requested 30% deposit if I wanted to move forward and order the boat. Dlr stated it would take 90 days for Cig to build plus transport time to nor cal.
He has a 2005 38 Gun(owners demo) in stock that he really wanted me to consider and maybe thought he could move me into the Gun.
Was floored with the sticker shock. It all worked out for the best forcing me to come out of the ether and sober-up we found a nice house in Nor cal in forclosure that is now a rental which may allow me some day to get a newer boat after the kids go to college.

That 300+ price tag is out of control for a Vice, good thing you came to your senses!
When the time is right to buy a Vice/Gun/Glad or whatever. New or used, you need to call Phil (see my signature line). Give him a number range you're in and what you're looking for. If he doesn't have it, he'll find it for you.
