Call once a day and ask for 'Bud in Parts'. He is so busy that he seldom has time to answer e-mails. He is often out of the office.
When he is there, you will get through to him!
He is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He has helped me with parts, materials and offered me technical support on many, many occassions. He has taken me down to the production floor to have questions answered by the workmen themselves!
My Cafe' Racer, SEABISCUIT, is in pristine condition thanks to him.

Most would expect a call saying "sorry sir we do not handle those issues please contact a local dealer" Not for nothing but Harley Davidson made millions selling after market parts to customize their customers bikes..... Cig just has not figured that out yet.

I would think to have a top deck made would cost to much.. having to bring back a retired mold, prep it, to make it useable, material, labor, markup... I would look in a different direction, can the old one be repaired?
good luck with your project.
