The Nordic is doing great, going to keep it another year, before looking for something faster. Going to have to miss desert storm this year, I have a restaurant opening about the same time, so I'm going to be tied up for a while.

Nope...
I used to run this boat with it's second owner. The original owner was the Sultan of Brunai. It was one of the first 46 Rough Riders ever built. It is a very heavy straight bottom boat and underpropped...He liked to have a nice cruising RPM...
It stayed here in the Hamptons for 3 or 4 years and was too big for the owner to single hand, so I ran it with him and his girlfriend. Hell of a nice guy... He also owned the 39 Blue, Gold and Orange Cigarette Competition that is now owned by Guy LaMotta Jr.
He sold both boats and got out of baoting completely...I always wondered where this one ended up...

I did the Georgian Bay Poker Run this past summer up here in Ontario on it and it was awesome. The weather was pretty bad, about 3 metres in some spots. When all the rest of the boats were turning around, we just kept going. The boat didn't even get a work out, went through or over everything like a champion.
We didn't get over 65mph but it was on of the most enjoyable rides I have been on. Thanks again to the owner and Ted for being captain for the day.
Just my 2cents.
Thanks.
