What power does Team Virgin have?
Also the MAXX says 760 HP above, but the classified says 500 HP, Which does it have, or is the owner going to put the stock power back in when it sells?

It has 572 cu in 760 hp in the boat now. I dont know what way the boat was priced to sell, but the boat runs strong and is super clean the way it sits right now

BLee & I were talking today about the F2 boats. They are all cool and unique in their own way Anyone would be proud to own one.
jbk, I've never seen the picture of Speed Racer in post #28, pic 2. That makes #55 in my collection

Otis is correct on MAXX, the boat will sell like that, there was an option before to go back to the stock power, but sinse then the stock power has been sold. The 150k is still the same for the upgraded power

You guys are killing me! I'd take anyone one of those rides in a heartbeat. The wife talk me into a 28' Howard this season. She wants to stay on the lakes until our kids get a bit older. The Howard Bullet is a great boat but I still can't stay off the Cig boards.
Hey Hugh,
Looks like you sold the Flamingo. Did it stay in California?

Congrats on the Howard. It's a great boat that can handle the rough. We ran side by side with some maniacs in a hoped up Bullet on the SCOPE Poker Run 2 years ago. We were @ 70 MPH on the way to the first card stop. They started to walk away once we were in the lee of the island.
The old Flamingo is closer to you now. It has gone to Van Nuys in LA. Maybe you can hook up for a ride with new owner, John.

Well it's been about a year (or more) since I've posted anything. Been away from boating for at least two years (the car bug got to me!). Anyway, I am familiar with both the F2 boats owned by Lucky Strike and JBK. One of my best friends owned Lucky's boat and I owned JBK's boat. In a nutshell you can't go wrong with either one. The main difference between them right now is probably the power. I also heard (and LS has confirmed) that they have put alot of money into their boat to make it near perfect. I think it would require you to see both and make your best deal. Either way you'll be getting a great boat. Good luck!
