Default New style Cig windshield

Got the jig back today to make the new style windshields, approx 75" long x 4 1/2 at the ends that taper up to 6 1/2 in the middle. (3/8" thick) Will have the brackets back from powdercoating at the end of the week, and the small upholstered pad that slides in between the dash and windshield.
Will post pics. Can make them for $850.00 for the complete set. let me know

Interested, but that is same price I've been quoted for complete kit.
Will the w/s be clear or smoked?

It can be either smoked or clear. I made the jig for the plexiglass, I am going to talk with the glass guy today to see what his botom line will be to make them. I am hoping to only pay in the 600.00 range for everything. Give me a few days to complete the set up.
I will send you a set when they are done to see if you want it, if you do you pay for it... if you dont , you can just send it back

I'd be interested on seeing how the finished product turns out. Post some pictures when you get it back!!

Ok. Maybe I can be your guinea pig and post pix of my installation?
I guess the expensive part is the bent metal bar? The plexi is not expensive.

I paid $100 for a replacement WS, cut down, drilled and sanded. I think it was 1/2" material. I paid, $200 to have my brackets (and a pile of engine parts) power coated. So the aluminum fabrication must me in the $500 range. Probably a bit high.

Is this the same w/s that is used on a 46 RR ?? If so, I need one in smoke tint. The one I have, has a crack in the outside mounting hole, where it's screwed down.

Tanner did your flip ups have the turn latches to keep them in the down possition, what are you going to do with those holes, Does the new windsheild cover up the holes in the deck where the flip ups used to be

The new winshield bracket lines up right over the old holes. The holes are already threaded, so it saves alot of time trying to put a nut on them.
I am having the boat painted, so I am just filling in the holes where the lock downs were. I If I wasnt' going to be painting, I would have just put back in some short screws and all you would see is 3 stainless heads flush with the deck.
