Congrats....I was watching that one also. I started out with a 1974 28SS. Best riding 28 foot hull ever built. You will have a blast with that one!

i just bought a '79 28ss all original--i would love to get your email and correspond.for one thing i have the original bolsters and the drivers is set SO close to the wheel that you cannot hardly sit on the flip up seat you need to stand all the time,for one i need your seat runner set back dimensions---i should have it all done,paint engines,upholstery by end of may-my email:[email protected] sure you put in subject matter:cigarette--thanks,terry

Hey 28SSCIG, did you buy that boat from a guy named Eric? i think that was his name....if so then you have the windshield off my buddy's 28cig he wanted the low one and the guy that you bought it fromwanted the taller one so they swapped and everyone was happy. Heres a pic of the other cig:
