I replaced my teak with mahogany. I have gotten alot of compliments and have done nothing to it in the last 4 yrs..................looks great IMO.
Good luck with the project. Its not easy but will be worth it in the end

that boat is so unique with the wood on the deck and hatch, I helped Cig 19 with his project and the pictures of the teak in the before are so brutal i dare not post them but seeing the way the mahogany worked out and looks and it is very low maint. I looked at a 24 like that twin in line 6 volvo's and the teak deck a few years back sorry i passed on it now
