Also noticed in research and reading there were a couple of Left hand drives (example)

Is one of the boats listed in the classified section the one that rolled and was redone?
I have a left hand drive and combined it with the forward motor on the starboard side. I believe that engine config. became the norm afterwards.

Bossman - Good looking boat, nice find!

Tony - Good looking machine but, I've pretty much decided if I do switch boats I'm sticking with the turn key reliability of stock 525's. I bet the mid-range punch is great on that Vortech setup.

Anybody else have anymore info to throw out here?

you should feel the mid-range punch of 800 zuls, n/a zuls are as reliable if not more than 525s, no electronics to speak of, just basic big block muscle.

I'm sure it must be quit a rush!
I need to keep the power reasonable to keep the insurance in line.

I found that with 525's I had no problem with insurance. The 750's or anything over 525 made it 3 times as high and then only a few companies to pick from.

Yes, my findings were the same.
I'm pretty much interested in a Staggered 525 setup.

So from what I've read only mild changes in later '03 models
other then that nothing significant?
