If you can afford it this is what I would go with.

You can get more hours on them the 850's or the 1200's and it will still run in the high 80's to low 90's.

700 SCI - DRY-SUMP NXT1

Also make sure you check your Kevlar hull every now and then. I have herd of the Kevlar splitting due to old age. Has happened to a buddy of a buddy.

hey big mickey....

850's with the nxts or dry sump #6s...

if you can afford to do all this work, you can also stick in there some hatch work....

look at jbtiles thread up top.. he put #6s and bigger pwer in there, same that you would like to do... he alos had to do hatch work.... do some searches under his name, his pics are great reference for what you want to do..... pm him as well, hes from jersey and im sure would have no problem telling what he went through...

jersey people are some of the finest people you know...

hope this helps... since we are buddies now....

WICH ONE ??
from this list,
525EFI Bravo One XR Short sport master - ITS

Higher x dimension, 5-blade prop, you'll love it, although the SC motors would be quite a bit "funner".

or

HP700 SCi

I would do 700sci's and #6's. NXT's have some trouble if the X isn't high, and if you have an older boat, chances are your X is very low.

If you went NXT, then you need to glass in the transom and get the X dimension super high. Easier to space down, then to space up!
