I have another set of 28 I'm going to try but I think they maybe to big. Could only turn them 5250rpm before. We'll see. What happened when you added your one inch spacer??
with out the spacer i could walk it on plane really easy and slow or it would blow out with a 1 inch spacer and with a 2 inch spacer i cant ease it on plane i have to hold it at 3000 rpm and wait for it to get up i have 500 efis and 24 maxumis props cut to 15 inch they worked great when i had stock lowers but now i have trouble getting on plane i get 5200 rpm at about 75
after i am on plane it runs great i dont know what to do next.

thanks tony

Have you talked to any of the prop companies?? ( Throttle up ) I've been taking to Julie about the cnc props. Not sure what I'll end up with.

Just wondering is there any benefit to be had by swapping the lowers on these hulls?

That what I'm trying to find out, I just put the shorties on my 1989 cafe. I've gotten the fastest speed the boat has ever seen. But it is alittle harder to get on plane. I'm still prop testing.
