Default Reasonable Asking price T/S Lipship TG

http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...P-GUN-92896778

I have seen the boat but don't know anything about it. After all the discussion on used Cig prices I looked in the boattrader to see what was around and spotted this.

Suddenly takes the thunder out of 190K asking prices for older t/s TG's and knocks the straight bottom TG's below 100K forever.

ad notes that guy is looking to trade to a cruiser......bet he hasn't gotten a trade offer with 3 digits before the ,000 part. My buddy went to trade a 38 PP and Marine Max sent a local go fast dealer up to look at the trade. Couldn't pull more than 125K when book at the time was 200K (2 1/2 years ago).

Great deal on a nice boat...now if I could just sell mine for $90k

I would love to see T/S at that price range but I think alot of owners owe more then that. We shall see

I agree but an original owner paid less than 200K new so after 8-9 years of payments and a refresh or two he is getting down there on the payoff. Owing money doesn't make the value on the boat unfortunately.

I buy jet skis to use for the summer and resell at the end of the season. My opening question when I call is "DO YOU OWN THEM OUTRIGHT OR OWE MONEY?" If they answer "OWE" I usually figure them to be buried in the ski with $99 payments for life @ 17% interest.

I don't see the price as being a fire sale. Aren't there a few on this site that are priced right around that range, after a refresh.

Especially since it doesn't hava a trailer and has been stored on a lift outside in FL. all it's life.

I am curious to see what the rest of the pics look like.

I don't know why that boat isnt sold but its been the lowest price tstg for a long time. Came down from the 159K range even when the market was stronger. I assumed it was a scam. the boat was $20-$30k below all the boats several months ago, maybe even last year.

Hmmmmm. Let's see, a Florida boat ,left on a lift outside, salt water use. Are we assuming that the boat is nice? Maybe so, but most Florida boats left outside on a lift need a total restoration to bring them back to what I consider as nice. Maybe the price reflects this.

No, $179K then $195K I think is the lowest listed two TSTG on here after Kevins boat went out of the ads.

That boats priced $40K lower than the next closest boat.
