Here is the trick. tell the wife about one of the 2 projects. Such as getting new vinyl and I bet she will barely notice a new stereo. Worked for me.

FYI I see that trailer selling for at least $700 on craigslist. That may esase the pain a bit.

That looks like a Manning trailer. They're built solid. Make sure it's not rusting from the inside. Then if OK, media blast & paint clean the wheels then replace the accessories. You'll be good to go.

Agree with Holy Smokes. That was one nice trailer in it's day. It may still be structurally sound, and therefore be a whole lot less to refresh it vs. buy new.
