I assume he's talking about a stepped gun since it had XR's on it. (??)

I don't know of any stepped Guns that had 3's on them.

We have 3A's on our Gun but it's a straight bottom. Love the drives (baby 6's). Plus with a straight bottom the CG is better with the drives forward.

Again, if you're talking about a TS there may be issues with the CG being moved forward.

A frined of mine has an 02 with 3's on it. It is a totally different boat than with the XR's. Way more stable, but it takes a little more power to get it really fast as the X is a little lower.

If you don't end up buying it. Email or PM the info on it. I have been looking for one.

Or if it is a good enoguh deal, maybe a finders fee.

Considering your the guy that told me that we would ned the spacers, what is the real story.

I actually talked to 2 other riggers and they said definately spacers.

His engines are actually moved forward all ready. I think that is what helps make it more stable.

Know it all.

Also if he runs XR's no Boxes wy would the engines be moved forward ???????

Then again ,,,the reason most if not all boatbuilders made a notch is to rise the (socalled X-dim ) drivehight to gain speed.
And eliminate the BOX,,,,it is the box. For each 10 " back u whant to go min.1 " up on lighter boats even 3 " if the props get enuff water at WOT.

And i dont care what other people tell you,,,,,if i set up a boat it gains speed and runs and that is all that matters to me.

If you whant to go waterskying i am the wrong person to set up your boat.

Have a nice Holiday .
Got you all stirred up on a sunday evening.

I don't water watersky, whatever that is.
