Thought I would resurrect this thread and make it a build thread. Transom is being removed this week. Should be done in two weeks. Then I'll get a trailer, pick it up, and bring it up to sunny Ohio to my shop. This thing is gonna be the death of me...

Should I keep the lights in the front or fill them in???

Awesome, thanks for the offer. Here's the list:

Replace transom
Repaint Bilge - change color from red to white, by others
Cabin - New upolstery, by others
Cockpit - New upolstery, by others
Outdrives - blast and repaint, by me
Motors - clean up, polish, repaint, by me
Cockpit - paint, by me (flooring suggestions welcome)
Hull - paint (white), by GlassDave???

Boat has 454 Hawk motors w/ B&M blowers and fresh TRS drives. I'll start with these. I may purchase a nice set of 572s w/ blowers in the future but I have to get the hull straight first. I also would like to upgrade to Konrads in the future.

Also, I contacted a company about the opaque electric glass. My idea was to flush mount the glass over the lights in the front of the hull so when not in use, you can tint the glass white. I'm trying to convince them to let me help them R&D it. It may happen, it may not, is there any interest in bringing this to market???

Take out the lights and glass up the holes. They add to making the hull look dated.

WHOAAAAA..... That is the exact Paint Job my Cafe has except mine is blue where yours is red. Mine is a pro-series.

I would keep the lights because I woudl LOVE to have them at night. Look at some of the boats with the lights in them - I don't think they date them, but that is just my opinion...

Yeah, like I said before. This thing won't be in the water till next year. I want to take my time and make sure everything is right. This thing will be the death of me at the ripe age of 28......
