I have a 24' Cigarette Squadron XII. I have never even heard of an outboard setup on these boats. I doubt that's stock, it's likely a conversion from an IO to an outboard setup. Stock boats came with a MerCruiser 400 TRS.
If it's the real deal its serial number should start with XEX24, mine does.

If it does, then it was for sale in West Palm Beach about 7 years ago for about that same price.
Before I bought my second Banana Boat I was looking for a 24' Cig and came across it.
I think it needed Transom help.

if the link doesnt work, try jaxed... that's how i found it.
as of 2 days ago, the seller hadnt been contacted by the winning bidder and he was going to be putting it "up for grabs".
the hull certainly appears to be the real deal, although the seller still hasnt answered my questions regarding the HIN and the paperwork, so without that, the boat is not worth much.

I had a Squadron 24' hull that was bought as an uncut hull and deck. It had an engine bay and hatch but the stringers ran up to almost deck height at the transom. There were no gauges but and black overlay that had cut outs for what would have been two tach's and a speedo. We believed it was intended to run twin outboards on a bracket. It was 84/85 I think. We bought it in Florida , rigged it in MA and it was sold in Pompano in 87/88. White hull, black and red stripe. Originally had USA Racing decal changed to Cigarette. One of the later owners put a ridiculous radar arch and a camper enclosure on it.
