It only takes one buyer...
I feel pretty good about selling my 87 Cafe Racer last year for 50k...
Was trying to sell it for nearly 2 years. Gelcoat and interior were all original, engine/drive packages were brand new and trailer was triple axle gooseneck and marginal at best. Of course I spent 75k on the repower and more than 20k in other upgrades after purchasing the boat in 2002 for 45k.
All in all, I lost my shirt, but was happy it sold. I only got one call and only one person came an looked at it...and he bought it...paid cash...so as I said...It only takes one buyer.
