I have access to a state-of-the-art machine shop. Not sure if the receiver is the same on my '91, but I know I can get these made no problem.

There are, apparently, a lot of guys that could use this particular part. Obviously, myself included.

I spoke with Phil at Lip-Ship. He believes that this system was used up to 1995. He said that he's nearly certain that the entire mechanism (lock, latch and receiver) were fabricated by a company in Italy.

If you could fabricate this piece, as it seems that's the only way that some of us will be able to get one, would be outstanding!

I'll be the first order.........One please!

Mike,

Thank you!!!!!! I haven't ever seen the receiver from my boat. The piece isn't as I imagined it. And it appears, that it doesn't install counter sunk into the bulkhead huh? It installs, sticking out, and countersinks into the locking/latch mechanism then when the door closes?

Once again, thank you!!! Is it possible for you to provide some measurements for possible hand fabrication?

I just wanted to publicly thank Mike. I called and spoke with Mike for a little while.......great guy.....and he said that he would have the piece that I was looking for fabricated for me. Within an hour, he had called stating that the fabricator would have the piece completed within two weeks.

With that said..........THANK YOU MIKE!!!!!!! Hopefully I can return the favor one day. =)
