Default 42x w/700 NXT's

What is a real expectation of top speed with this bone stock pkg. I've seen posts that say 98, is this true?

What about 850's? I know they are heavier and so are the #6's> May be better to whipple upgrade the 700/nxt's.

I went 97.6 with 850's on lake St. Clair, 5 people, full tanks, and 97 octane (less than full power) on a test run.

Sure with 89+ octane and 1/2 tanks 100+ would be no problem.

Jima,

Saw an awesome 42 in rigging at the factory this past Friday. Paint was incredible. Boat is being built for the Lauderdale boat show.
