Leaking fluid at steering column
I have a 2000 gun and starting to think of my to-do's before the season. I have been dealing with a sometimes...not so slow...leak of hydraulic fluid at my steering column. I tried some gasket treatment with no luck. I'm thinking I will need a new helm or pump since I've been told no one really likes to re-build. Too cold to get too deep into it now but anyone know where I should start looking for a replacement part(s)? Thanks

Do you know the maker/brand of the current helm?? Find that out and then call them and see if the offer a rebuild service or kit.

In cold storage now, but as soon as weather allows that's what I will probably do. Was hoping someone might know that info from experience so I could start digging for parts now...
