Yup, they are cool toys. But have no business being next a Cig.

This does much more for Ducati than it does for Cigarette, IMO.

Yup. Back in the late 90's into early 2000's.

I understand that this is supposedly what the customers want but that is the deiiferance between boating today and 10-15 years ago. Back then guys bought Cigarette's because they were touch and masculine.
I know you know all of this, your reply just confused me a little. The bright paints with stripes going in & out of the interior, colored bezels, painted hardware, valve covers/flame arrestors, aka "bling", was all basically pioneered by Cigarette & Apache. They have always been known to the boating & especially the non-boating public for their wild or "circus" looking paint & interiors, long before Nortech & Outerlimits were even companies in their own right.

The Cigarette designs 10-15, even 20+ years ago, were a LOT wilder & circus looking by comparison to their competition at the time. Cigarette has been copied far more over the years, than they have copied others. Just look at old Miami Boat Show pictures, & there are NO other boat companies back then that even come close to comparing.

Guy ordering boats 10-15 years ago with pastel pink & other Easter type colors, with characters like Mickey Mouse & Roger Rabbit on the sides, is pretty far from giving the impression of being tough & masculine

I agree Robert, even Vespa would have been a step up. haha... I just don't understand this connection with other branding. I've had three Cigs in the past and i bought CIGS, not some embroidery and a decal advertising another brand!!
