Thanks Blee,
You are correct............
There are two 38s in my area that have been converted also.
Curt Ganos has had his done for several years now.
NO BOXES,......he ran with Parnell alot with Parnells 41 Saber.
Last year Ben at Bens Precision Offshore converted a
38 for a Grand Haven mi local Mitch Joppich,..........NO BOXES on this
one either. Last I new Mitch had about 700 to 8000 hp with plans to up the
power at a later date. Boat had TRS drives prior.

Thanks for the correction, your right I was thinking of another flat deck that converted from TRS to #5s.
Anyways I went back and fixed my post to reflect 3A's.
Also fixed the typo on 8000 hp.......LOL
Doesn't help writing in an airport terminal from my phone
Finally back home now,......geeeesh little colder here.
Hope your well we should catch up one of these days!
Take care

Sorry, couldn't resist. I get corrected half the time I post, with good reason, lol.
It was interesting at Bens with your 6s going on Mitches boat, Mitches 3As going on Todds 38. Wonder where Todds TRS went to?
Your 6s were so nice I thought it was a mistake to paint them blue. But, look they are awesome. Your gundrilled titanium tiebar doesn't hurt either

Speaking of tie bars,....here is the monster tie bar (Titanium)
weighing. ( 9.6 LBS ) after gundrilling the inside out. Weighed 15 LBS.
before drilling.
( Mitch's 38 cig with wetsump #6 conversion 1:62 gear ratio)
Torque multiplier,....lots of mid range acceleration
