I hear ya, I don't run a thermostat either. Just make sure you check water pressure , hopefully you already have gauges. You don't want to be any higher than about 30-35 psi or you can start blowing gaskets. Good luck.

I have a cafe TRS setup cross overs and so on. No issue what so ever. I do have a relieve valve due to water spike if I ever come out and on landind spike the pressure. But i run 20/21 psi all the time and never have an issue. Its a simple change over and will not hurt anything due to cooling or so on. Do the swap and run the pig out of it.
