90mph top gun for sale

It supposibly came from overseas somewhere. It is here for a makeover. That is what I was told. The boat looks like the day it came from the factory in 1992. Not sure if the drives are original as most of the 90MPH came with 5's.
Here is the picture of the engine Hatch notice it says 80MPH and the the scoops are far back. So I'm guessing it don't have big blower motors.

That 38 90+ that Carl had was a nice piece. He still has a lot of pics down on the wall of his shop! Good luck to the new owner!
BLee - look foward to seeing yours up at Grand!

Now that Key West 2012 has come and gone, I thought I would share the story of the restoration of Lock & Load, one of the five original 90 MPH Top Guns. I've admired the boat for about five years and at KW 2011, Carl agreed to sell me the boat. To make the deal I had to sell my Cafe. THAT saga is detailed in the thread "What's this boat really worth?".
Any way, Cafe sold and I picked up the boat then "Pure Pressure" in late February. The next day the resto began...

Mechanically the 572 Chiefs and the SSM V's were in great shape. The boat had been sitting idle for quite a while though, and cosmetically it needed some love. Trailering it home was an experience too, as the Myco had surge brakes that were not exactly "confidence inspiring"!
