Yeah the air tool was in a bad spot.

There is not really any method to the way it's wired up. Very messy in the builge. Will be cleaned up!

Didn't want to take the hatch off. Flat bar made a great braket to hold it at 90*.

Getting the trannys beefed up to match the 540s. This part is new to me. Going with 8 disk and it's being done by zimmer gears in baton rouge.

I 'd be very concerned about those brown streaks coming from transom assembly and bolts........they are an indicatiion of rot.

Transome assembly's have been take off. No rot was found.

Earl zimmer called me to day Changing the original trans build we were going to do. Zimmer gears/huber marine is next to my shop. post details when we are down with them.

Still waiting on the drives and trans. The gear supplier sent a bad lower gear set. It was .125 off on the shaft. Sent another gear and sent a bravo lower gear. Hopefully they will have the right one this week.

The trans are on the work bench now. Getting 11 disk put in them. Same set up as they use for illmor motors.

Been cleaning and getting ready to fill in some holes in the transom. Old style merc-a-those system, speedo tube, and may redo the water pickups. All new wires and Cables for throttles and tans.

Been busy around here finely back working on the boat. Have decided to scrap just about all of the stuff the owner befor me has done to it! Not sure were to start with his way of putting things together.
