I always heard the Cafe's ran better with transmissions. TRS, SSM, etc. Due to the weight being a little more forward in the hull. Less porpoise, better handling in rough...

I have heard the same in any trs hull that was updated with bravo... I can tell you from being on both 311 formulas to compare the trs boat for sure was better in rough water overall but bravo was 3 mph faster I would rather have the trs then 3 mph

Plus when you take into account the weight of carrying a spare Bravo around, you probably scrub off the extra 3 mph right there LOL.

[QUOTE=seafordguy;3883918][QUOTE=ridefast77;3883737]a buddy of mine has a cafe with 525efis in front of bravos and he love the set up , its a awesome boat and runs 80mph and that good for that heavy boat

What's it run when you take it off the trailer and put it in the water???
Hahahaha! Exactly!......... 4195 here used to have a 93 Cafe with 550-575 a side with Bravos and Bblades 26P labbed 4 blades and saw a best of 78 MPH.,,,which I thought was really good for that tank.

C'mon, bravos don't break !!! They're just fine even to 800hp with blowers, as long as you run a drive shower and some expensive lube lol

If I had a TRS boat Id go straight to KONRADS , bravo is a step backwards , unless you got that magic lube of course

The 25,000 Konrad conversion to older boats to me is insane...then you have even more invested in a boat not worth much in today's market......
