Default Top Gun cockpit LED question

Need your help guys. Finally ready to put in the interior and want to add LED's. The problem is that I'm changing the side panels to full length like the newer models and not sure where/how to mount the LED's. I can't use the round ones because they don't make them in purple and I want/need purple so it matches the engine bay and color scheme.

Anybody have any good ideas/suggestions?

Check out Optx Marine 2013 catalog. They have color changeable (purple) LED strips and rings that would be sick.

Thanks Kurt! It has been quite a transformation, to say the least.

Tom do you have a contact at Optx? I have a few questions about the multi-color controller. I really didn't want a remote scenario, I'd rather just have a toggle on the dash and that's it, but I might not have any other option, so this might be the avenue I need to take.

Hope this might help. I used these on my Harley and love them. I used the ones that change colors and with the remote you can freeze on single color, flash, and with another button speed up or slow down flashing speed. There is a purple you can freeze on. Hope this helps.

Tom I called Optx today but they won't have the color changeable ones in stock for about 2 months and that won't work for me. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thanks for the suggestion Doug, but I ended buying the Custom Dynamics Stingerz today.

Got two 39" purple flexible strips . I'm going to run the side panels all the way down to the floor and leave 1" at the bottom to sneak the lights into. So will have a strip all along each side right at the bottom and I think it should give the effect nicely and be out of sight still...at least that's what I hope

I'll post some pix whenever it's done.
