Holy Hell!
We hosted our little demo race event this weekend, about 2-3 mile circle track. RedMatter brought his 39 TG with the 1100/M8 package. Let me tell you, ive run a LOT of big power vees and none of them compared to this boat. The handling over 100 was flawless, putting her into turns at 90 wasnt an issue, the boat does everything right. And when you lay into it, you better be ready...the acceleration is MIND BLOWING. Video and pictures to come.
HUGE thanks to Ken (RedMatter) for being crazy enough to throw me the wheel and throttles for a few laps
Here are some pictures of the boat in last years event

Good stuff Johnny. How did it compare to John's 42 Fountain given their strong repuation? He has 1000's?
It really is good to hear accolades on the Cig from someone with your experience.
Time for me to trade in the Formula?? Problem is I would have to trade in 3 of them!!!

John's motors make around 900 and I think strung out it would be a bit faster, and maybe handle the really big speeds a bit better. His boat at 125+ is on rails. Its eery. That being said the Cig just has soooo much toruqe, its quite addicting! At 110 it was loose, but completely controllable. Never gave me an "oh sh!t" feeling, even in the turns at 90+. I never meant to come into a turn at 90 either...it just takes a lot longer than I imagined to slow down
I have a ton of seat time in the 42PR though, that was my first time in Ken's boat. If I had half the time I had in John's in Ken's, we could have run through the turns even faster.

The Rigging is impeccable. Ive crawled through them all. A few big names in the Cig League have really dissapointed us in this department. Cigarette does a fantastic job.

Great story, an awesome boat with a nice guy owner. Sorry I could not get up there, things would have been 'interesting'. That is the one Cig I could picture owning, just due to the performance.
Missed seeing the great people as much as the cool boats.
