Thinking about a Bullet
So I saw a 302 Baja, and a 29 Scarab at a boat dealer close to me, and beside the Baja, there was sitting a 1988 bullet, I knew I had to take a look so I jumped on it walked around, and I really like it far better than anything else I have checked out. Even the all red vinyl I think looks pretty sweet (despite how hot it would get), it has twin 454 MAGs, K Planes (one is broken), dual axel trailer, and 312 hours on port, 212 on starboard, yeah I have no idea what that is about. I Just wondered how to figure if this thing is Kevlar or not, and some different things to look for on it, and just general knowledge of it. I am not very familiar with Cigs, not because I don't like them, but up until now I passed them off as being too much money for me to spend. But any information is appreciated... Will add some pics. Thanks

As far as I know, no Kevlar Bullets were ever made. I'm sure others will chime in, but here is some info.
There were a total of 63 Bullets made from 1988 to about 1993 (Not sure when the last was built). I have attached the 1988 Cig brochure for the Bullet that has sizes, fuel load, etc. They are built like tanks, very heavy and well built for a 31 footer. They will just about take any sea you would be brave enough to go out in. They have an excellent cabin layout. They are not the fastest but they are very comfortable. It will take about 500hp a side to see 70+. With the mags, you should see 60+. I personnally would recommend a Bullet to anyone looking for a 30 footer.

Thank you! I don't plan to do anything to the motors, because I personally, don't have the money to upgrade, don't have the time to think around with everything if something breaks, and I am not a major speed demon, 60+ would make me plenty happy.

You can not go wrong with a Bullet. Good info above from HP. One big plus I have noticed is the 8.5 foot beam, the extra width in the cockpit is nice. And of course in the cabin there is "The Chair"!!!
