Old School could at least tell you how stable his was back when he had his big engines in it.

What size engines are you planning on running?

ZZ572R'S ported

Wonder what the cost would be to step the hull
Can you ask old-school l can't reach him
Blowers l guess if it needs it,it should do 115-130
A 90 velocity does 113

And the correct speedmasters

Keep in mind the Velocity (great boat too) is an entirely different boat. I had a 1994 TG with 1300 HP and #3A SSM's, it topped out at 80 MPH. You'll need BIG power to get it in the upper 90's. To have the hull stepped will be a costly proposition.

Well First Off You Cant "Step" The Hull You Would Have To Buy A "Stepped Hull" Which Would Be A Late 2000 And Newer Hull.....So I would Say To "Step " The Hull Would Set You Back To A Min Of 125k
Second You Are Dreaming Or Smoking If You Think By Adding Blowers To A Pair Of 572's Your Going To Do 115-130 Which By The Way Is A Huge Gap...
Third Velocity Is Crap.....lol
Fourth Do Some Home Work.......
And As For Your First Post....All Depends How Big Your Balls Are.....!!!

Some T-55's might push a straight bottom gun to 115-130.

Sorry, you are incorrect sir, you can step a hull; Jeff Haylett did it on a non-stepped Fountain and made a VERY successful race boat. There is a recent thread on stepping conventional hulls.

The guy is looking for info, let's try to help him out.

its difficult to get a 1990 gun into the mid 90s. From my knowledge they handle well to just under 100mph.

See post # 10.

You're not going 130 unless you rotate the face of the speedometer counterclockwise about 90 degrees.
