Default 38 Top Gun Standoff Boxes or not???

I have a 1990 TG Notched transom TRS Boat converting to Bravos, should I put 12" Standoff Boxes?

Does it better the Ride, Faster?

Forget the Bravos, keep the TRS.

Bought boat without power nor drives, have all the Bravo gimbles, Drives etc.

Just wanted to know if they ride better with or without Boxes.

Typically the extension boxes puts the props back farther in cleaner water and make the boat more capable because it lengthens the overall running area. Not sure how the balance will be since the boat was designed around transmissions and drives. Now you are adding bravos and boxes. Good thing is you will be able to play with the x dimensions and boxes. Plus today more prop choices also help in boat capabilities..
