not that kurt's boat's motors were tired, but you may be thinking of that one? If it had Konrads, it was Kurts - which had similar paint...

Awesome boat with great story behind it. 1 of 7 Top Guns built in 1997 that were rigged at Fort Apache by Scott Smith and Neil Hernandez at CRT Service Inc. Craig Barrie and Cigarette built the hulls then moved them across the street to CRT Service for rigging. QC on these 7 Top Guns was second to none.

I just heard about that yesterday Very cool. When I started to look at the boat I noticed the rigging was STOUT !! Big cables, race motor mounts, big MM strainers drive showers, 380 k planes and so on....... Motors are now 750 sc's with swept back 1.35 xrs. Ran 48@3000rpm, 68 @4,000 rpm. Pulled all the drive oil ,replaced batteries, and stereo already. Next couple days I will clean and detail it. Definitely putting the windscreen on for looks and function, wind was not really an issue but the flaps are old school. Most likely keep it in FLA for the winter.

Anyone know what this boat weighs?? Kevlar/ covergirl cabin 11,000 lbs?? Just a guess, my 382 Formula was pretty heavy but know where as big as the Gun.
