Lesson here: Spinning props inward will loosen rod bolts

Lol nope all was fine then boom oil pressure 70, oil temps 200 nothing out of normal

Throwing a rod would make me think there was a fastner issue or a cylinder was detonating and pounding the rod bearing. For most of us average marine guys were aren't revving the engine to the point of stressing the rod so much it breaks. I'd imagine you had some h beams in there ?

Seems like those engines had issues from the day they were built back when the previous owner had them. You prob best to start from scratch now. Throw some cam in those things !

Yes the plan was buying these for the parts since after parting the scarab I broke even for free engines I wanted to go through them as it was, yes has h beams I will know more when I pull them and tear down in a week or so I might cam them there is so much more power on the table at the same time they make good tq numbers now and not sure how much more I wanna stress the TRS drives and 7 disc Trans I have don't wanna get into upgrading all that for a few more mph I want turn key every weekend, build these the way I want tem and make sure they're right and be happy...
